M&G Real Estate/Prudential

Transaction Value: £350 million seeding value

Transaction Type: Corporate Project – Leading the establishment of a new real estate fund for Prudential

Description of services provided:  Overall project lead responsible for delivering an innovative new product for Prudential.  The establishment and launch of the new fund, seeded with a commercial and residential property portfolio valued at circa £350 million. This was a high priority project with a very aggressive timetable.

Completion Date: The project was delivered on time and on budget in December 2016.

Allen & Overy LLP/TE Connectivity

Transaction Value: US$3 billion

Transaction Type: Global carve-out involving over 50 countries. Disposal by TE Connectivity to CommScope Inc. of its global broadband and network solutions business

Description of services provided:  Worked as part of a three-person core team which led the overall project management of the transaction, and which was responsible for managing and coordinating country and regional teams around the world.  The sale involved extensive restructuring of existing businesses as well as asset and share sales in over 50 countries, with a global closing involving the completion of asset and share sales in 40 countries in a single day.

Completion Date: The core transaction was delivered and completed earlier than anticipated in August 2015.

TE Connectivity

Transaction Value: US$350 million

Transaction Type: Carve-out requiring complex reorganisation in China. Disposal by TE Connectivity to Littelfuse, Inc. of its global circuit protection business

Description of services provided:  Managed the complex operational, legal and regulatory reorganisation required to deliver the carved-out business in China.  The role involved the coordination and management of business, operational, finance and tax teams in China and other key jurisdictions, instructing and managing external Chinese counsel as well as liaising with and reporting to the client’s global M&A team.

Completion Date: The deal was successfully completed in March 2016.

Lend Lease

Transaction Value: Undisclosed

Transaction Type: Disposal of Lend Lease’s facilities management non-core business to Engie (formerly Cofely UK), a subsidiary of GDF Suez

Description of services provided: Transaction lead responsible for preparing the business for sale, leading the marketing, managing and negotiating the sale as well as transitional services arrangements.

Completion Date: The transaction was successfully delivered in July 2014.

 

Bank of America Merrill Lynch

Transaction Value: Undisclosed

Transaction Type: Disposal of a real estate development business in Central and Eastern Europe

Description of services provided:  Lead project manager for Bank of America Merrill Lynch and its investment vehicle, Pinnacle, on the sale to Arcapita, a logistics development business with offices in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Bulgaria.  The project included the management and coordination of the internal transaction teams and all external advisers in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Bulgaria.

Completion Date: The deal was successfully completed in May 2008.
